The HE 5861 strain gauge module records the measured value from load cells, strain gauges or melt pressure sensors. If service is required, the module can be exchanged quickly and easily during operation (hot swap). The process values are shown on an LCD display. Strain gauges (DMS) are evaluated with a resolution of 23 bits. An analog universal output (14-bit) with parallel current and voltage signal and two relays for limit value monitoring are available. The areas of supply voltage, fieldbus, logic and inputs are galvanically isolated from each other. In the event of an error, the modules work with previously defined error values in order to ensure safe process control (fail safe). The transmitter can be configured and parameterized via the SmartPort interface.
