Diameter measuring and control system
USYS 20 processor - ODAC diameter gauge head
State-of-the-art measured value processor with multitasking system, based on
expandable microprocessor technology for an ODAC measuring head.
The basic version is for diameter measurement and control
set. However, this model can also be used for wire drawing
Applications, immersion depth or profile measurement can be configured.
Main Functions/Features:
- Desktop model or as a 19" rack for mounting in
an enclosure/cabinet
- High-contrast LCD monochrome display (240x128 pixels) of the measured values
with a selectable resolution of up to 0.0001 mm and for configuration
of the system
- Lot Summary Reports (SQC)
- Graphic bar display to show either the deviation from
Target value or ovality
- 1 serial RS-232/-422/-485 interface (configurable) for the
Printout of statistics or for remote display
- 1 RS-232/-422/-485 serial port for host communication or
Connection to USYS Data Log (configurable, galvanically isolated)
- 1 Ethernet interface for host communication or connection

- I/O connector plug with the following inputs/outputs:
- 3 relay outputs for tolerance and pre-alarms
- 4 digital inputs (e.g. start/stop and pause, statistics,

- 1 counter input (e.g. for line speed)

With the SRD option, the connections can also have 2 digital inputs
and a static actuator (analogue input and output).

ODAC 16J diameter gauge head
Compact, uniaxial diameter measuring head with semiconductor laser
and telecentric f-theta optics. Laser and optics are in one
built into and guarantee a robust housing (protection class IP 65).
