2.1 It shall be able to synchronize NTP-compatible clients with NTP, SNTP and NTS - Network Time Security support.
2.2 It shall have a powerful yet easy-to-use web interface.
2.3 It shall have a backlit LCD panel and function keys for local configuration.
2.4 It shall have a USB port for loading firmware updates, backing up/restoring configuration and log files, and disabling/enabling access to front panel controls.
2.5 It shall have a command-line interface for advanced users with absolute control over all aspects of the server's functionality.
2.6 It shall have comprehensive network support, including full HTTPS encryption for the Web Interface and REST API with TLS certificate management.
2.7 It shall include syslog, SNMP and SMTP support for comprehensive event logging, network integration and notification functionality.
2.8 GNS models will include a MultiGNSS antenna for receiving GPS, Galileo, BeiDou and GLONASS signals.
2.9 GPS and GNS-UC models will include a Meinberg IF antenna for receiving GPS signals and Galileo signals on GNS-UC models.
3. TIME SERVER BASIC SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 Basic System Specifications
3.1.1 The device will have a dual-core Intel Atom E3805 processor running at approximately 1.33 GHz and 1 MB L2 cache.
3.1.2 The device will use a custom operating system, built on the Linux 4.x LTS kernel.
3.1.3 The device will have 2 GB DDR3L main memory.
3.1.4 The device will provide 4 GB eMMC Flash storage.
3.2 Monitoring and Alarm Features
3.2.1 The device shall support SNMP v1, SNMP v2, and SNMP v3 protocols.
3.2.2 The device shall support email (SMTP) and syslog notification channels.
3.2.3 The device shall be able to access log records via the web interface, download via FTP service, or access via the command line interface.
3.3 NTP Support Features
3.3.1 The device shall support NTP v2 (RFC 1119), NTP v3 (RFC 1305), NTP v4 (RFC 5905), SNTP v3 (RFC 1769), and SNTP v4 (RFC 2030) protocols.
3.3.2 The device shall provide symmetric key-based authentication using MD5, SHA-1, or AES-128-CMAC hash algorithms.
3.3.3 The device shall provide NTP v4 Autokey (private/public key pairs) support.
3.3.4 The device shall provide NTS encryption (RFC 8915) in unicast client mode for NTP v4.
3.3.5 The device shall be capable of processing up to 25,000 NTP requests per second.

3.6 Valid Receiver Types
3.6.1 The device has a 12-channel L1 C/A coded receiver to receive signals from the GPS satellite constellation. (GPS)
3.6.2 The device shall have a 72-channel receiver to receive signals from the GPS (L1), Galileo (E1 B/C), BeiDou (B1I) and GLONASS (L1OF) satellite constellations. (GNS)
3.6.3 The device shall have a 72-channel receiver to receive signals from the GPS (L1 C/A code) and Galileo (E1 B/C) satellite constellations. (GNS-UC)
3.6.4 The device shall have a square modulation receiver to receive signals from the DCF77 longwave transmitter in Mainflingen, Germany. (PZF)
3.7 Operational Specifications
3.7.1 The device shall emit 0 dB(A) acoustic noise, i.e., shall operate completely silently.
3.7.2 The device shall operate without problems between 0°C and 50°C (32°F and 122°F).
3.7.3 The device shall be capable of being stored at temperatures between -20°C and 70°C (-4°F and 158°F).
3.7.4 The device shall operate in a 30°C (86°F) environment with a relative humidity of up to 85%, without condensation.
3.7.5 The device shall operate without problems at altitudes from sea level to 4000 meters (13,123 feet).
3.8 Device Body Specifications
3.8.1 The device shall be in a 1U / 66 HP form factor.
3.8.2 The dimensions of the device shall be approximately 337 mm x 43.3 mm x 248 mm.
3.8.3 The chassis of the device shall be made of sheet steel.
3.8.4 The device shall have IP30 protection class, i.e., it shall provide limited protection against dust ingress.
3.9 GPS Antenna Specifications
3.9.1 The frequency range shall be 1575.42 MHz (GPS L1 / Galileo E1 band).
3.9.2 The antenna connector shall be N Female type.
3.9.3 The bandwidth shall be 9 MHz.
3.9.4 The antenna shall be suitable for operation in weather conditions of -60 °C to 80 °C, and shall be in IP66 standards.
3.9.5 The antenna splitter shall be 1 input and 4 outputs.
