The microSync can be used both as an NTP time server and as a PTP Grandmaster.
LAN0 and LAN1 are NTP ports,
LAN2 and LAN3 of the microSync are available with different PTP performance levels.
Performance Level A (8 clients) is the standard, upgrades are calculated as follows:
- Performance Level LAN2: PL-B: 256 clients = EUR 398.00
- Performance Level LAN2: PL-C: 512 clients = EUR 1,062.--
- Performance Level LAN3: PL-B: 256 clients = EUR 398.00
- Performance Level LAN3: PL-C: 512 clients = EUR 1,062.--
The microSync is optionally available with the following receivers:
0 - GNS: L1 Multi-GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou), 72-channel
1 - GPS: Meinberg GPS, 12-Channel
2 - GNS-UC: Meinberg Multi-GNSS (GPS, Galileo), 72-channel
Unless otherwise requested, the microSync is offered with the OCXO-SQ oscillator.

However, higher quality oscillators are available at the following additional costs:
- OCXO-MQ: EUR 166.00
- OCXO-HQ: EUR 419,--
- OCXO-DHQ: EUR 917,--
The HalfRack HR version is only available with a built-in power supply (20-60 V DC).
SFP modules are required to use the NTP/PTP interfaces.
We recommend using the SFP modules that we have tested and offer, either as electrical or
optical version (single mode also possible).
